When my brother and I were visiting colleges on the East Coast (West Coaster here), my Home of the 12th man Texas AM Aggies shirt and grandpa got first class seats, and my brother and I got economy. We made friends with the absolutely flamboyantly gay head attendant on the flight and spent most of it hanging out getting free drinks and bullshitting with the flight crew. It made the non-stop cross-country flight pretty entertaining, better than hunkering down and banging our knees on the seats ahead of us.
I was 21. I don’t know if it was the right thing to do, but it felt like the right thing for her Home of the 12th man Texas AM Aggies shirt. Oh, and I figured out why she was sleeping all the time…. My aunts were drugging her by overmedicating. Xanax. When they were talking about it, they complained about her being a nuisance. They wanted her to just sleep so they didn’t have to care for her. I told on them to my mom. Officially starts on Ash Wednesday in March and ends in Easter Sunday on either the first or second weeks of April (Holy Week 2015 saw Holy Wednesday fall on April 1, haha).

Those same energies I have also felt in various public places, mostly pubs but sometimes a Home of the 12th man Texas AM Aggies shirt or similar. They weren’t directed at me, but because I was familiar with them I just wanted to get out of there, The cafe incident, the guy I was saying hello to and also warned to leave emailed me later about something bad going down there asking me how I knew. It’s not that I can see the future it’s simply that every negative energy of that type is very distinguishable and easy to avoid because it’s so out of place with everyone elses energy.
Thankfully leaving was a different story. Yard time was over and not a Home of the 12th man Texas AM Aggies shirt was outside as we left. Then when this kid was given 10 years, I ended up transporting him to the same state prison and those same people were lined up against the fence and this time I did have to carry him. He knew he wasn’t leaving this time and passed out walking into that same Sally port as before. They ended up calling medical to care for him. The look the kid gave me as I was leaving was truly heartbreaking. This guy certainly wasn’t the criminal type. And they ended up using sedation to get the kid to calm down enough to get him processed.
