He asked me with a complaining face about why I didnt come even when he joined us in Christmas parties. I said that that is our rule and I added that I would not take even from my home. There was definitely a way with my children’s father. We celebrated holidays and birthdays as we always had done, including inviting my ex mother-in-law.
