As a galaxy forms, a random Vintage Orlando Magic caricature 90’s t shirt NBA basketball Shaq of matter in space coalesces into a disk, or some other elongated and curved form. This process can be thought of akin to a ballet dancer tucking in her arms and legs as she spins, resulting in her spinning much faster. In classical mechanics, ignoring all relativistic effects and nonlinear terms, this can be described simply as follows. Moment of inertia, the quantity relating to how hard a force has to try to rotate an object, increases as an the matter becomes more central due to its own gravitational attraction. This, by conservation of energy, the angular velocity must increase proportional to the square root of the decrease in moment of inertia. All in all, this phenomenon happens in many ways right in front of you every day, however galaxies boast a much more grandiose scale than we are akin to conceptualizing.
I went to an Vintage Orlando Magic caricature 90’s t shirt NBA basketball Shaq presentation about it in my sophomore year, and the NHS coordinator hyped it up to be some extremely prestigious organization that would set you apart from all those “other kids” when applying to college. I then applied to the NHS at my school, but was rejected due to a lack of “leadership.” I guess that’s what I got for not being religious or a sports team captain. Still, it didn’t stop me from being accepted into three University of California campuses and another university campus, with two of the universities offering to subsidize substantial portions of my tuition. Oh, and what about one of my peers who applied to many colleges, but was part of the NHS? He got rejected or waitlisted from all but one of them. Now, the one benefit the NHS at your school might offer is community service opportunities, but the benefits really end there. The NHS is not the one key to college, and don’t let anyone convince you of that. If they reject you like they did me, just live life and let your academic accomplishments speak for themselves.

“Hundreds and thousands of tourists from China and abroad sprinkle water to each other to celebrate the annual Water Sprinkling Festival in Jinghong city of Dai autonomous prefecture of Xishuangbanna, Yunnan province. It is the most important holiday of Dai people, which is also the New Year Festival on the calendar of Dai people. The unique charm of the Ansai Drum set off the inspiration of people on the Northwest Loess Plateau. The simple and unconstrained characters of farmers make the drum play a unique artistic flavor. No, I wasn’t bullied particularly, the one spectacular time I put a Vintage Orlando Magic caricature 90’s t shirt NBA basketball Shaq to it completely I have related elsewhere. It just transpires that a lot of people around me in those days were utterly oblivious to the shit going down, systemic failure of students who only needed a little help, or even total hostility for those who stood out in their own way. Adult expectations are unreasonable and not informed by awareness of the challenges today’s children are facing. Children internalize adult expectations and feel inadequate. Threats of bullying, violence, a deathly or certainly scary coronavirus pandemic, and even attendant thoughts about death being caused by attending school make public schools feel particularly unsafe compared with other possible placements. Avoidance of stress becomes the optimal way to cope with all the pressure.
A digression: I fail to understand the Vintage Orlando Magic caricature 90’s t shirt NBA basketball Shaq of celebrating New Years in winter rather than in spring. Western calendar used to begin in March (i.e. in spring not winter). That is why September is called “Septem” – seven, not “Novem” – nine. New Year was changed to January to be closer to the supposed birthday of Christ. But why did Chinese and Koreans and Vietnamese and Mongolians celebrate their New Year at a time when the Northern part of Northern hemisphere is still reeling under winter? My guess is that it represents the hope of winter ending rather than the actuality of winter ending. Finally, I will end with one observation from my memory in India. Two linguistic states Telugu and Kannada of India celebrate the new year on the same day (i.e the two new moons after Chinese New year that I alluded above). When I was growing up, it was always called Telugu New year and I would get irritated. I later realized that it is sometimes natural for the bigger state to have more claims. So the Vietnamese and Koreans should not mind the “Chinese New Year” usage too much. “East Asian New Year” would perhaps be ideal, but for reasons mentioned above “Lunar New Year” would not.
